Ezeudu's funeral was really weird. I thought it was kind of cool compared to traditional funerals. However it was very destructive. I can see why the people paid respect to a great warrior by being violent but they don't need to kill every plant and animal in their path. It is a good thing that ten people didn't all die in the same month because then there wouldn't be any Umuofia left to live in by anybody who survived the funerals. Luckily the people are not destructive towards each other, although one of the underworld gods chased the people that held the ropes around his waist to restrain him. It is very unfortunate what happened to Okonkwo though. It was a complete accident and he had to leave for seven years. maybe if the funerals were a little more calm, it would not have happened. He could have become the greatest man in Umuofia if he did not have to go.
