Following up on the last entry. It gives some closer to know how bad Okonkwo feels after killing Ikemefuna. The man had killed many before, but never one whom was like family. We finally get to see a softer side of Okonkwo. We see how he is capable to feel love, regret, sorrow, and other softer emotions that otherwise are hidden. I don't know of anyone else that could do what he did even in the book, so Okonkwo is still pretty hardcore. However, it is nice to see that even rough and sometimes evil people can have more sensitive humane emotions. He didn't morn very long though.
