I liked this page because it explained that Okonkwo was never lucky and that he got where he is all by his own work. I can really respect a man that gained success all by the sweat of his back. I guess that it is the American work ethic to become top dog all on your own. I guess that it makes me like Okonkwo more because I know that he is not a little punk cheater. I don't agree with it when some people get all cocky and don't have the right. Maybe because their parents are rich or something like that. But even though Oknokwo is cocky and he has a bad dispostion, which is kind of pathetic, he has the right to be because he worked for it. I can appreciate that.
