Entry: 5
Page 26
It has been while since my last entry but I think that I can get all 36 done by August, hopefully. So, about the page, it shows Okonkwo's true colors. I really liked how Achebe started off with this: "Looking at a king's mouth," said an old man, " one would think he never sucked at his mother's breast." To me, this means that even though all people are cut from the same cloth, they turn out different in the end, yet we deni it. This also connects to Okonkwo very well, because even though he was born poor like the man he called a woman, he still insulted him. You would never think that Okonkwo was born like the man he insulted.
