It is cool that Obierika has taken care of Okonkwo's yams for him and sold them. Obierika is a really good friend for doing that. Okonkwo doesn't really need the money but the alternative of Obierika keeping all of it for himself is really greedy and mean. So I guess that Oknokwo could say that he has the most land and yams of all men because he has land in his clan and his motherland. I think, however, that saying so would contradict his exile and be counterproductive according to his customs. I think that it is ironic for a man in exile to prosper above all those who are not in exile.
